Assisted Buying Agent with German

The Assisted Buying Agent has responsibility for supporting the client and requestors during purchasing activities including vendor management, purchase request creation and contract upload. The Agent is acting as the point of contact for all issues arising from the customer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain and validate new supplier request with high quality by following the processes
• Manage Email queries and provide high professional answers in order to satisfy the customers
• Create new purchase requisitions in the ordering tool Ariba
• Manage and update the existing purchase requests as per the needs of the customer
• Manage contract upload for the existing contracts and complete extensions/terminations as requested by the category leads
• Perform supplier management activities with high quality by following the processes.
• Ensure effective customer relationships as initial Point of Contact
• Support the Category Lead with requested analysises
• Provide high quality procurement service to the client ensuring that contractual and SLA obligations are met for work within scope of role, report on activities, opportunities and results within procurement
• Ensure all requests and email querries are actioned on a daily basis and resolved and communicated in the agreed manner
• Escalate identified issues as appropriate and take task to completion, identify and address the issues in time, pro-client orientation
• Manage the monthly reporting tasks as per provided guidelines and procedures

• Good general education
• Fluent written and spoken German, talkative English
• Good organisational skills
• Preferrably experienced in procurement (not a must)
• Computer literacy (eg. Word, Excel) • Good written and oral communication skills
