Risk Model Developer

Job Summary:
Role covers responsibilities related to Life liabilities and Life business risks simulations as well as Risk based return measure.

What will be your responsibility:
• Business requirements gathering and fine tuning
• Solution(s) design
• Solution(s) implementation and R code development as well as testing (SIT, UAT)
• Gathering required input data and transforming it into application input format
• Setting up application workflow and production cycle, executing application runs
• Documentation development, and
• Providing business consulting / advice to business application users.
• Role covers responsibilities related to Life liabilities and Life business risks simulations as well as Risk based return measure.

What we are looking for:
• Fluent in English,
• German would be an advantage
• Experience in IT / IT educational background
• High communication skills allowing business discussions, ability to understand business point of view
• Ability to transform business requirements into sound statistical/quantitative software/application solutions
• Experience in coding, modelling, optimization of code, reporting, ETL, SSRS ( SQL server reporting services), S+, R
• Experience/Familiarity with AGILE / SCRUM software development methodologies
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Experience / ability to prepare of software technical documentation and users manuals
• Experience/familiarity with Life insurance would be an advantage
• Experience/familiarity with Insurance Risk Modelling would be an advantage
