WHAT WILL
YOU DO

Accenture is seeking a Category Lead with deep Professional Services sourcing and supplier management experience to help customers drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will work on a dedicated basis with an Accenture customer with responsibility for delivering category management services including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing, client stakeholder management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. The location of this role is flexible, preferably London or Prague/Bratislava, and will require travel to our client sites in the EU.
Specifically you will:
• Design and implement cost savings projects across multiple Professional Services sub-categories including HR, Finance, Tax, Audit, Risk Management, Vehicle Fleet Services, Workplace Services, Consulting or Contingency Labor procurement categories.
• Engage with customers’ senior management team members to drive strategic initiatives and communicate progress.
• Measure and manage “suppliers’” (aka providers, agencies, etc.) performance relative to contracted service levels.
• Experience developing annual opportunity assessments across all Professional Services categories of spend to establish annual sourcing wave plans in support of achieving overall savings targets.
• Represent the Professional Services procurement support for highly notable brands.
• Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.
• Coach and develop team members in their performance and professional development.

WHAT WE
EXPECT

• 7-10+ years of experience in consulting, sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function.
• 5+ years as a leader in the field of Professional Services-related procurement (Finance, Risk Management, Vehicle Fleet, or Legal categories) or delivery from the supplier side. • Fluency in English and German
• Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to Professional Services.
• Deep knowledge of multiple sub-categories including, Finance, Tax, Audit, Risk Management, Vehicle Fleet Services, Workplace Services, Consulting and Contingency Labor procurement categories.
• Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint).
• A bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
• Position require 50% of travelling
