Accounts Payable Clerk with German and English language (temporary stay in Germany)

• Entering and matching invoices, incl. scanning
• Preparing invoices
• Handling AP mailboxes
• Make corrections on request of the AP Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager
• Prepare incoming mail for handling
• Processing of Intercompany invoices
• Filing of invoices
• Account assignment and posting of vendor invoices
• Transfer of the electronic invoice into the approval process (targeted invoice dispatch to GRN/budget owner)
• Resolution of mismatches/differences with business departments e.g. due to missing or wrong goods receipt
• VAT evaluation for incoming invoices (reverse-charge-system, third-country taxation)
• Preparing letters for invoices to be returned
• Answer incoming queries in a prompt and courteous manner
• Assist the AP supervisor
• Ad hoc tasks

• Strong accounts payable and communication skills
• Strong process management and improvement skills
• Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• SAP-experience in FI (focus AP) as well as SAP-invoice verification, OR Oracle Financials
• VAT-know how in the national and international environment (reverse-charge-system, third-country taxation)
• Fluent in written and verbal German
• Fluent in written and verbal English
• 1 -2 years in AP processing area
• Preferably experience in inventory/supply chain management
• Role requires travel and stay in Germany for estimated period of at least 6 months
