IT Procurement support

As an Operational Buyer, you will offer essential operations support within EMEA region, focusing on Information Technology (IT), Software Licenses, Cloud, and Data. Depending on your background, your role will vary:
• Procurement Background: You will engage directly in procurement activities, enhancing the quality and cost-effectiveness of IT services and products sourced from external vendors.
• Business Analyst Background: You will focus on IT-relevant tasks such as scope review, contract understanding, and offering strategic alternatives to improve operations and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support the procurement operations, ensuring strategic sourcing and cost management.
• Analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions, focusing on maximizing value and minimizing risk.
• Conduct reviews of contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to refine procurement strategies based on detailed market analysis and vendor performance.
• Support the negotiation process, ensuring contracts meet the strategic needs of the business while adhering to compliance standards.
• Maintain and improve procurement systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize analytical tools to generate insights and report on procurement metrics, aiding in decision-making and strategy formulation.

About the Team: You will join the EMEA Regional Procurement Team based in Bratislava, part of the Global Business Solutions division. This team is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, developing regional strategies, and executing plans that align with global procurement goals.

About You:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a role focused on IT procurement or business analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI are preferable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and collaborate effectively across a virtual, global team.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems, handle ambiguity, and drive positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
