Project manager

General Position Description
The position involves significant dealings with schedule and/or task, requirements, stakeholder and quality assurance management. Much of the workload requires managing communications and expectations amongst suppliers, service providers and clients.

Responsibilities
• Manage projects throughout all phases of product development. Also providing oversight and managing schedules in other functional departments (e.g., production, design, logistics).
• Manage scope (requirements), schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk.
• Develop, review, monitor and track project scope and requirements.
• Act in the capacity of supplier liaison.
• Analyze project costs to ensure expenses/costs are accurately tracked against budget and/or forecast.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers (developing RFP’s) and/or partners.
• Evaluate supplier schedules and products to ensure timeliness and quality of services and/or products rendered.
• Analyze and report on variances to budget and/or forecast.
• Interface with the appropriate technical, design or management staff (both internal and external) to address and resolve issues.
• Provide performance information in various formats to support planning, briefings and presentations.
• Perform monthly analyses and advise Project Management of potential cost and schedule issues.
• Maintain baseline data and perform baseline changes, and ensure historical information is retained.
