As a Junior Actuarial Analyst / Data Scientist your main responsibilities will involve:
• Building pricing models for various insurance products, for countries in Europe and other regions, to reflect the risk the company is taking on
• Communication of analytical insights within the company
• Development of pricing analyses to assist with price setting
• Participation in Research and Development - testing of new softwares, methodologies, developing best practise
• Collaboration with various departments (underwriting, marketing, claims, IT etc.)
• Using innovative statistical methods to deliver business solutions

Primary work location is Bratislava. This Position may require occasional travel.

• University education (Master's degree preferred) in Financial mathematics, Actuarial science, Statistics, Quantitative methods
• English – advanced, other languages are an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (SAS, VBA, Query languages, etc.)
• Understanding of mathematical and analytical softwares is an advantage (R, Python)
• Ability to work as a part of the team but also independently
• Creativity, open minded and proactive approach
• Willingness to embrace the actuarial career
• Openness to opportunities for travelling abroad
• English – advanced, other languages are an advantage
