Job description, responsibilities and duties

Have you experienced or been in charge of transition process and want to develop your knowledge in direct taxing? Would you like to travel and meet colleagues in foreign teams? If you are eager to take on a challenge of direct tax process transition within a multinational company, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating in transition process of direct tax agenda to Bratislava
  • Mapping out a situation and processes used regarding direct taxing at a specific branch anywhere across the world
  • Identifying, analyzing, summarizing acquired knowledge in order to create a vision for automation/standardization
  • Active supporting of the implementation standardized business processes across all branches
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly VAT journals and VAT/GST returns
  • Reviewing and preparing VAT reports

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in the area of taxes or accounting
  • Fluent in English, spoken and writer (C1)
  • Experience with transition process (transfer from in or out of team/branch etc.)
  • Experience with studying or working abroad
  • Willingness to travel (approximately twice per quarter for 2 weeks)
