Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Helps to identify press release opportunities and other collateral development
- Drafts / edits content and achieves approvals in cooperation with key internal contacts
- Develops and executes optimal distribution plans
- Writes press releases and prepares information for the media
- Monitors Sygic and industry press coverage; identifies relevant trends and news angles; collaborates with subject matter experts to draft related content (incl. comments, rapid responses, editorial, social, etc.) and optimizes coverage in relevant regions
- Drives strategy and coordinates PR aspects of event / tradeshow attendance
- Helps to maintain various activity tracking documents and press databases and provides other general administrative support as needed

Requirements for the employee

Personality requirements and skills
- University Degree in Communications / Journalism / PR or Marketing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PR or communications field, in an agency or corporate setting
- Preferred experience in IT / technology / telco
- Preferred experience with PR measurement
- Familiarity with social media platform
- Strong media relations experience with ability to think creatively and generate new story angles
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter / takes initiative
