Job description, responsibilities and duties
This is an opportunity to join an established team with the platform to drive financial performance and, ultimately, shareholder return for Swiss Re. We are now recruiting a FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Global FP&A team within iptiQ.
The role will require you to demonstrate different capabilities to be successful as there will be a financial performance angle to the role as well as a focus on process management ultimately working with various management information tools and systems.
As part of this role, you will:
• Manage financial processes (e.g., financial long-term projections) from start to finish ensuring that all the various steps are delivered along the way and that the ultimate delivery is achieved in a complete and timely manner
• Perform business analysis establishing data consistency across multiple IFRS reporting systems
• Support implementing necessary controls to ensure efficient processing and high quality reporting outputs • Work collaboratively across all facets of iptiQ including Finance, Cost Management, Strategy and M&A
• Gain exposure across iptiQ's business functions including Finance, Underwriting, Distribution etc.
• Help to deliver the financial storyline of the business results to senior management
About the Team
The team is part of the broader Global Clients & Solutions Finance team with this specific role part of the team which focuses on the iptiQ business. The role reports to the Global Head of FP&A iptiQ who in turn reports to the CFO of Global Clients and Solutions.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
We are looking for an adaptive, performance and outcome driven communicator with the ability to navigate competing interests. You are able to manage processes well focusing on ensuring timeliness and accuracy and enjoy working with technology and various management information systems.
Essentials:
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience in a relevant field (ideally Finance or Corporate Finance) with an understanding / past exposure to accounting principles, ideally related to IFRS 17
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a subject with a numerical basis (Economics / Accounting / Finance / Mathematics etc.)
Nice to haves/additional differentiation factors:
• Experience in the insurance industry/understanding of primary insurance economics and the insurance value chain
• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with coding (language agnostic) preferred, willingness to learn is required as well as experience with management information systems (e.g. PowerBI, Python, etc.) • Project management experience either in a key support or overall manager role
