Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position supports the development of Outsourcing related reporting for the benefit of a set of Swiss Re Legal Entities and Branches to fulfil their governance and oversight responsibilities as prescribed by the Group Outsourcing Policy and Solvency II or other regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely in a team and with a network of individuals that will provide the content for reporting that is relevant for Swiss Re Legal Entities, Branches or Business Units on External and Intra-group Outsourcing. Activities and responsibilities are diverse, offering the successful candidate a significant opportunity for career growth and development.

• Gathers information from multiple internal sources that are relevant to Outsourcing.
• Reviews and analyzes the data gathered to ensure quality standards are met.
• Structures the data into a standardized reporting format.
• Verifies the final report back to sources of content, and with subject matter experts.
• Ensures that all specified time bound deliverables and process related key performance measurements are met.
• Maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manages the document and information flow needed to support for mentioned activities.
• Maintain physical and electronic office records in compliance with Swiss Re's internal guidelines and regulatory directives.

Personality requirements and skills

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business administration.
2-3 years of professional experience.

Experience:
• Experience in project management methodologies and project management
• Basic understanding or willingness to learn legal and compliance requirements
• A process perspective
• Comfortable working virtually, and globally
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering high quality results in terms of process, content and timeliness

Skills :
• Above average Microsoft office skills, especially Access, Word and Excel (e.g. Vlookup)
• Ability to work with and implement new technologies
• Demonstrated effective people interaction skills
• Ability to interact effectively across multiple levels of the organization
• Self-starter with personal drive to succeed and achieve results
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proven customer orientation
• Collaborative leadership style, effective, open, and transparent communication skills
• Service-minded, customer orientation, solution-driven, efficient and pragmatic
• Experience or willingness to develop virtual relationships in an international multicultural environment, including the desire to learn more about Swiss Re Operations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia regions
• Previous exposure to Continuous Improvement techniques and tools preferable
• At least basic knowledge of Share Point technology is an advantage
