Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
TASKS:
• Participate in production meetings, prioritizing and delegating tasks to Process engineers
• Prioritizing resources in production teams
• Developing processes and tools for Process Engineers
• Supporting the Process Engineers within their responsibilities
• Follow up process engineering tasks and projects
• Mapping the process for an overview and plan for the future process developments
• Creating, optimizing and balancing a flow of machines and equipment to secure cost, output, quality and availability based on current demand of products and volumes
• Developing machines and processes with new technology and automation (payback calculations & CER)
• Maintaining OEE system, evaluate results and take actions to improve machine availability or eliminate quality issues caused by process failure
• Setting and verifying the production process in NPD projects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Holding regular meetings with the group to secure knowledge exchange, right focus and right competence within the group
• Short and long term development or training Process engineers
• Long term development of manufacturing processes
• Handling customizing requests within process. Decline customizing request or implement changes and new equipment if motivated
• Implementing FMEA, control plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Develop the maintenance programs for machines and equipment in cooperation with Maintenance technicians
