Job description, responsibilities and duties
TASKS:
- Lead and develop activities in the area of purchasing, planning production, in house logistics and shipping leading to success of the department’s customers.
- Perform other duties as per requests of superiors within agreed job competences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the local Supply Chain team with customer focus
- Develop strategies, best practices and pursue continuous improvements
- Integrate company-wide solutions and optimize material flow
- Assure purchasing functions
- Develop and organize complete in-house logistic process and flow
- Manages, organizes, and reviews customer needs versus production schedule and adjusts flows
- Manage inter-departmental communication with colleagues in other departments both on local and international level
- Work with other SWEP manufacturing facilities to maximize production capacity and overall coordination
- Develop and implement relevant KPI's & standards that secure positive progress of department reaching appropriate service levels and contained cost objectives
- Drive Physical Inventories
- Lead or participate in projects
