Senior Piping & Layout Specialist

Review and Approval of the design by Technological Contractors using documentation and 3D model;

• Coordinate the design input/outputs between different Contractors (technology/technology, technology/civil) within Nuclear Island and between Nuclear Island and Conventional Island;

• Validation of inputs coming from the same technological contractors for stress analysis, anchoring points design, isometric drawings and the like;

• Pre-analysis of Feasibility for Erection in strict coordination with Site Technical Office;

• Analysis of constructability of mechanical, electrical and I&C design with respect to original VVER440 design with consideration of space, conditions and process constrains;

• 3D model space management, including layout aspect of electrical supply and field instrumentation;

• Technical supervision on the internal and external services in the area of 3D model and layout;

• Assure safety, quality, technical consistency, compliance with Basic Design, required plant performance and compliance with Project objectives;

• Management of interfaces between engineering disciplines aimed to assure the compliance between process aspect and layout solutions;

• Management of interface with contractors in terms of layout coordination and space management;

• Solution of space management issues with respect to space and design constrains;

The Senior Piping&Layout Specialist will report to the Head of Plant Design.

Requirements:

At least 10 years relevant experience in Piping & Layout on complex projects;

• Past experiences in “Nuclear Plant Design” will be considered a plus; VVER plant design knowledge will be preferred;

• Good knowledge of English language;

• Good communication skills;

• Problem solving attitude;

• Independence with team work capabilities;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
