Software Tester

Are you experienced software tester who is looking for a challenge? Do you like automated as well as manual testing? We are looking for a creative and motivated colleague, who is willing to work in company which develops meteorological software. You can work in modern office environment, where except work you can use relax room or have a cup of tea with colleagues in the kitchen. Spoken company communication language is Slovak and written is English.

JOB DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Tester's main role is to test the software developed by developers to meet internal and customers' specifications.
 test for correctness, completeness, security and quality of the software
 cooperate with developers on every day basis
 provide feedback to developers regarding user experience and functionality
 functional, performance, automated and release testing
 reporting bug reports to issue tracking system

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
 intermediate English language (at least reading and writing)
 previous experience with software testing (at least 6 months, ideally 1 year)
 basic knowledge of programming and development life cycle
 ability to create test scenarios based on dialogue with developers
 ability and willingness to manually test both graphical user interface and functionality

Any of these skills are advantage:
 knowledge of Linux at user level
 Python scripting
 Squish automated testing
 experience with Issue tracking system
