Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Division Intelligent Exterior Systems. We are developing brand new products, for our premium customers (VW, Skoda, Porsche, JLR).
As a supplier engineer you will manage manage the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process with suppliers. Your main missions will be to:
- contribute to the selection of new suppliers and to commodity strategy definition
- support the nomination process prior to the sourcing committee
- coordinate and manage supplier production part approval process (PPAP’s) to
closure
- manage program changes with suppliers up to 6 months after SOP
- evaluate (audit) of suppliers when requested
- analyse first off-tool parts and part history tracking at the supplier
- monitor mount-ability and packaging validation

- 1,5-2 years of practice as Quality Engineer, ideal Supplier Quality Engineer or APQP Engineer. Candidates with longer experience can apply as well, minimum experience is 1,5y.
