Job description, responsibilities and duties
As Project Quality Leader, you will be part of the core project team, reinforcing customer quality interface . For your assigned project you will report to your Program manager. Functionally you will report to the Customer quality manager. You will be in charge of one project from nomination until start of production. Project Quality Leader takes full responsibility for assuring the project team delivers the project quality results and ensures customer objectives are met by:
• Having an independent customer position in the project especially for escalation process of quality risks
• Supporting the plant and project organization to secure launch and ramp-up
• Being the link between plant quality organization and project team
• Leading the customer APQP process to achieve the customer approval by deploying the customer specific requirements to the core team members and validating the core teams deliverables before presenting to the customer
• Identifing the gaps in the quality deliverables to the customer requirements back to the core team members and escalate to the Program Manager and Customer Quality Manager when there is a risk to achieve the project quality objectives & customer satisfaction
• Supporting the plant quality manager’s team in order to ensure all quality processes are efficiently deployed into the plant organization and are effective to secure the start of production
