Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- ensuring financial management of the company within Slovakia
- management of FA projects on local level and active participation in international FA projects
- long-term business planning and decision making
- forecasting of costs and revenues, building and coordination of budget, consistency supervision of budget data in Hyperion
- preparation of financial reports and their presentation to regional top management
- responsibility for accuracy and completeness of accounting, control and approval of incoming invoices
- regular financial analysis and ad hoc analysis of revenues and costs, consolidation of all data from various departments of the company
- approval of contracts, purchase requests, business expense reports and payments
- cash flow management
- creation and monitoring of compliance with internal regulation
- acting as a main contact for internal compliance audits
- securing of tax matters in cooperation with Tax Advisors
- regular communication with business partners, Business Unit Managers, External Lawyers, Accountant and Tax advisors and regional executive management

Personality requirements and skills

- Degree in economics or business administration
- Experience of more than 5 years on similar position preferably in international environment ideally in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in accounting, budgeting and planning
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Excellent user of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with Hyperion and SAP software
