Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Performance of internal audits, pre- investment audits (Due Diligence), business support and consulting in Slovakia and abroad in all Kronospan Group and related sites
- Performance of other economic consulting projects based on direct requests of the owner of the Kronospan Group
- Assuring risk analysis and audit programming
- Supporting management in optimizing internal controls
- Being responsible for assessment of level of compliance with applicable procedures, adequacy of controls, efficiency and effectiveness of operations and accuracy of reported information
- Examining financial records, information storage systems and internal controls to ensure there are no indications of mismanagement, unnecessary waste of resources or fraud
- Evaluating management procedures and operations to ensure the company is operating as efficiently as possible while remaining within established corporate polices and government regulations
- Reviewing all records and information related to expenditures, cost, taxes and internal controls to determine if a company is secure and has a strong financial foundation
- Coordinating and managing the procedures of the Kronospan group and their related parties
- Reviewing operations or programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives

- Master´s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Banking
- Previous experience on Auditor´s position from BIG 4 is a big advantage
- Experience within Internal/External audit up to 2 years
- Slovak - native speaker - is a MUST
- Fluent knowledge of English language is a MUST
- Knowledge of German, Russian, French language is an advantage
- Preferred are candidates from Zvolen surroundings (up to 30 km)
Economical skills:
- Basic knowledge of Accounting Standards
- Basic purchase process
- Basic knowledge of IFRS
Additional qualifications:
