Experienced Project Manager

Job Description
The role calls for the standard Project Management skill set but with particular ability around senior stakeholder management, risk management and the effective management of multiple project service providers and third party vendors.

The Senior Project Manager is typically responsible for delivering the project from the phase of inception to closure.
Senior Project Managers will work on complex projects which are typically of higher risk (technical, organisational, reputation), high value or are of strategic importance. They will also work on large programmes of work involving multiple organisations and technologies with high business visibility.
Position is located in Bratislava, Kosice or Banska Bystrica.

About the role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the delivery of complex projects to the satisfaction of the Service Delivery Team and the Business.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting. Responsible for setting up and running project boards and reporting progress to the business and the Service Delivery Team.
Planning. For multi-vendor projects the PM develops an integrated project plan structure based on the vendor's project deliverables and PwC tasks. Performs project plan maintenance to incorporate updates and changes to the master project plan
Financials. The PM will report on project costs and forecasts on a regularly scheduled basis, normally monthly.
Risk Management. The PM is responsible for risk management across the project and will create and maintain the master risk register.
Primary Project Point of Contact. Being the primary point of contact with the business and relevant Service Delivery team for all project related matters
Collaboration. This role works in a collaborative manner with all team and vendor resources of a project throughout the life cycle
Strong Business Judgement and Influence. The project manager influences others within the whole project team using their technical expertise to identify and address project issues
Project Comms. Develops and distributes internal project communications, and participates in the development and review of firm-wide project communications

Requirements:
Qualifications and Previous Experience
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BSc) preferred or equivalent experience.
Significant experience of successfully managing a range of complex, high value IT projects and programmes from requirement definition through to project closure.
Experience of negotiating with and managing third parties
Experience of dealing with senior client and stakeholders within the business.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Strong meeting facilitation and negotiation skills
Strong business judgment.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work collaborative.

At least 8 years of PM experience
Fluent English
Slovak language preffered
Clear driving licence
Travel - May be required
Since our organization is supporting a variety of international projects (mostly within EU), travel can take up to 0-60% or 3-4 days a week (home on weekends - based on project requirements)
