Treasury IT Systems Analyst

Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the Treasury Wall Street Systems (WSS) and Treasury Payments System (TPS) which are the global Treasury applications. Ensuring the availability, performance, and accuracy of information is maintained at appropriate levels. Activities include responding to system inquiries from the extended global team, along with identifying and recording common system issues. Participate in the planning, analysis, design, testing and implementation of functional requirements and system configuration to WSS and TPS. Work closely with Treasury Operations and Finance I/T to deliver technical solutions and provide end-to-end project support.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Technical & Financial processes.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent in English.


Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Proficient with Connections strategies and report writing concepts.
• Experienced with supporting application configuration logic.
• 3rd Level Degree Qualification
• Financial / technical background
• Understanding of Treasury Operations
• Basic knowledge of the payment processing lifecycle and Treasury Operations
• Project Management skills
• Financial Mathematical skills
• Knowledge of Information Technology, file / field mapping, XML Format.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows: Excel and PowerPoint
• Payment architect experience and banking background would be advantageous but not essential.
• Previous experience in designing & architecting enterprise level applications in Java / MQ /DB2
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively with banks and internal business partners.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Accurate and detail oriented with ability to multitask.
