Job description, responsibilities and duties
European Business Services is recruiting the “Accounts Payable & Payments Manager”. This role will lead a team of specialists and will be accountable for ensuring accurate and timely Invoice processing and payments of all LafargeHolcim third party supplier invoices while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and compliance.
- Leading and coordinating the Accounts Payable and Payments team
- Ensure Shared Services Center procedures are followed as it pertains
- Support in accounting month-end and year-end P2P activities
- Address vendor and internal business inquiries
- Identify and suggest process and system enhancements
- Perform at a level that assists in attaining overall and team-level performance measures and goals
- Ensure proper training of, and continuous communication with, the AP and Payments team players on current and new processes
- Interface with other Shared Service teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities and deliver seamless service to vendors, customers, and the business
- Drives the implementation of best practices, continuous improvement, and process standardization for the existing processes within the teams irrespective of customer segment.
- Provide new team members with adequate learning opportunities and provide ongoing performance management to team.
- Willingly accepts work outside the normal scope or responsibility, perform organizational duties and ensure the security and integrity of transactions made in its area.

- English advanced
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Experience with leading finance department minimum 4 years, Shared Service Centre is advantage
- Experience with people management minimum 3 years
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Strong Customer focus
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
