Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsible for the creation, validation and testing of all automation algorithms by using HP Object Orchestration Studio. Create custom Object Orchestration components using various scripting languages (JavaScript, bash, PowerShell, VBScript, python, etc.). Utilize your infrastructure expertize (Windows, Linux, Virtualization, etc.) to design the automation flows. Capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, presenting, managing capability requirements, and integrating of Cloud solutions into varied environments.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

• Design, document and implement automation workflows that will
◦Meet the client requirements.
◦Integrate with the ES standard management tools.
•Perform flow modification after the solution has been brought in production.
•Install and upgrade the infrastructure components.
•Promote standardization and automation during implementation.
•Ensure that the created/modified flows are implemented and tested in the cloud portal.
•Ensure that existing automation flows are accommodated to satisfy new work requests.
•Ensure applicable content standards are met.
•Store engineering related collateral in approved configuration management repository.
•Produces/reviews Low Level Designs based on High Level Designs and client requirements.
•Ensure projects and tasks to be performed with the highest quality and according to documentation in predefined timelines.

Personality requirements and skills

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

•Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience
•At least 3 years’ experience in IT support or automation role
•Customer facing experience.

Other requirements:

Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):

Essential:
•Several years of IT operational and/or engineering experience.
•Advanced programming experience in at least one of following programming languages - JavaScript, bash, PowerShell, VBScript, python.
•XML knowledge.
•Working knowledge of platforms (Wintel, Linux), Virtualization (Hyper-V and VMware), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and database environments.
•Excellent understanding of ITIL framework and processes
Desirable:
•CSA development relevant experience is advantage
•HP Operations Orchestration development relevant experience.
•Being able to author and deploy automated workflows.
•Profound knowledge of OO Studio (including troubleshooting and debugging).
•Understanding of HP Server hardware (e.g. C7000) and datacenter concepts.
•HPSA knowledge.
•Active Directory and LDAP.
•Understanding of storage and backup technologies.
•Proficient knowledge of HP workflow tools (HPSM, OVSC and OVSD)
