Role description
• Member of a team providing application services to an automotive manufacturer
• Long-term assignment with growth potential in serving other customers
• Development of new and maintenance of existing features of sharepoint applications
• Efficient knowledge management, supporting domain and software technology skill growth and education within developers' community
• Engaging in regular and sustained client (key user) interaction, encompassing both solution and result presentations and informal, routine communication
• Collaborating with members of 3rd parties, participating in application delivery

Expected experience
• 4+ years of developing sharepoint applications
Capabilities required
• Understanding of modern software design and development methodologies, e.g. Agile
• Practical knowledge of all phases of software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis, design, coding to a unit testing
• Experience using industry-standard integrated software build and deployment tools, e.g. Sharepoint Designer, Visual Studio
• Understanding and usage of modern software configuration management, e.g. svn, git, tfs
• Understanding of Sharepoint 2013 architecture and object model, forms and workflows
• Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010/2013, SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 and InfoPath 2010/2013
• Capability to develop Sharepoint workflows, building forms
• Exercised healthy self-confidence with ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
Capabilities appreciated
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Working with any object-oriented programming language
• Sharepoint master page and web part development/customization, management and troubleshooting
• Modifications to Sharepoint environment, administration
• Relational database concepts, PL/SQL (MS SQL)
• Understanding of XML
• Software design methodology, UML
• Software testing concepts
• German language knowledge/affinity
