Job description, responsibilities and duties
OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all Global Blue back office processing related business applications. As part of the Application Support Team the position cooperates with internal departments and external vendors to constantly improve the delivery of Global Blue´s business applications.
Responsibilities
- Providing 2nd level support for assigned IT services
-Incident management - troubleshooting and resolving assigned incident within defined SLA´s
- Root causes analysis and problem management
- Change management – plan, document and perform changes and extensions for managed applications
- Cooperation with external vendors and internal departments who act as 3rd level support
- Providing support in projects and services releases
- Participating in end to end testing as part of release deployment
- Providing documentation for GB Technology 1st level support and other stake holders
- Continuously improve the quality and service delivery of the managed applications

Experience and Education:
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience
- English language – fluent written and spoken
- Min 2-4 years of professional experience in an Application Support role; ideally in financial environment
- Hands on experience in supporting business applications in large or medium scale environment (enterprise applications such as SAP, ERP etc.)
- Experience in collaboration with Software Development teams
- Good understanding of business payments and debits processes
- Work experience within an international environment
Experience in supporting Citrix based applications – desirable
- Basic scripting / programming skills (e.g. PowerShell, Eclipse, Perl, Java, PHP )
- Experience with MS SQL database (SQL scripting, queries)
- Experience in end user training - desirable
- ITIL certification – desirable
