Accounts Payable Specialist with English and Czech or Slovak or Polish [ST-MAP02]

Our client

Our client is one of the world's leading generics pharmaceutical companies. We are looking for professionals into their Budapest office with excellent Czech or Slovak or Polish language knowledge.

Tasks

- Process various types of accounts payable transactions, resolve problems, tracking and reporting of metrics on overall purchase to payment process
- Responsible for month end closings and reconciliations; ensure the proper application of both GAAP and local statutory requirements over transactions impacting the balance sheets
- Provide analytics as requested by line manager and/or business
- Manage the vendor master requests and T&E process
- Cooperate closely with local and project team to ensure smooth process transition from local businesses to GBS
- Actively contributes to the process improvement and standardization initiatives

Requirements

- College or university degree especially in the field of Economics or Finance and Accountancy
- Experience in (AP/PTP/BTP/RTP) Accounting
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English
- Fluency in Czech, Slovak or Polish
- Confident user skills in Microsoft Office applications, advanced MS Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify & implement industry best practices to improve existing processes
