Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Role purpose:
Enable the customer journey experience through owning the local execution of global marketing & PR strategies within the Central Europe cluster within DHL Supply Chain and develop the internal communications strategy for the Central Europe cluster.

Marketing
• Digital Marketing in alignment with established segment customer journeys
• Coordination of Local Public Relations activities, communication with local PR agencies
• Management and monitoring of all event related activities within country cluster. Development of event calendar, activation plan and budget, coordination of internal and external resources
• Localization/ translation of marketing materials as needed

Sales Enablement
• Work with local sales & AM team in the identification of target accounts within country cluster
• Facilitate local solution / service alignment to portfolio
• Support local teams to maximize customer experience

Internal Communications
• Develop and implement strategic internal communications plans aligned to overall strategy
• Plan, implement and measure specific strategic internal campaigns to deliver business objectives
• Engage and build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders to plan value-adding internal communication activities
• Support the Employee Communications agenda in delivering high quality, relevant, internal communications to the business targeted to the various stakeholders. Ensure accurate distribution channels and processes are in place to reach all employees
• Organization and management of CE Cluster management conference
• Advise senior leadership in communications activities within function or country.
• Collaborate with the Regional and Global Internal Comms team to support global projects and initiatives
• Work with venues, suppliers and other third parties as required to support the delivery of employee events, campaigns etc.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization

Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
• 4-5 years of marketing or communications experience in international company
• Experience in managing PR & media relations
• Business-to-business marketing strategy and implementation experience
• Transportation/Logistics industry background is desirable
• Knowledge of relevant geography, with experience in working with international teams or Regional/ Global teams desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Customer oriented
• Goals oriented, self motivated
• Fluent Business English and Slovak language
