Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Leading a PROMT project
  • Coordinating the project team and all involved parties
  • Considering all relevant requirements (performance, styling, legal, …)
  • Setting up a development strategy to reach the targeted performance, incl. review after each development loop
  • Defining product guidelines (contour, compound, construction, pattern) for the new product line
  • Pay attention to time scheduling from product management
  • Tire building and testing (legal and internal tests)
  • Release notice (RN) preparation for 1st sign off
  • Release notice (RN) preparation for 2nd sign off
  • Ensure the tire performances and product quality over life time
  • Investigate application of new technologies (construction, compound, pattern, etc.) -Implement new technologies in current products
  • Press test and target approval submission for first year of introduction
  • Technical support for marketing and product launch
  • Mantains a well ­ established process oriented management system­ PoMS

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree, technical field (e.g. scientific, mechanical engineering)
  • Project management or leadership experience is appreciated
  • English language proficiency necessary (Reading, writing and speaking)
  • Dedicated, conscientious, flexible thinker with Inititave -Strong communication and sociable networking skills
