We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Site Environment and Energy Manager
The purpose of the role is to deliver environmental excellence for a world class organisation. It is essential to ensure robust environmental compliance, deliver energy efficiency, and cost reduction opportunities. Leadership and accountability is required, along with environmental competency.
This role is essential to integrate fully to the development of the site and support onsite activities prior to operational commencement. This will be leading and co-ordinating obtaining permits, working with the construction team, developing environmental ownership during construction and as operational staff start to be recruited.
Main Responsibilities:
• Interact with construction team and ensure best practice is implemented during these initial design and construction activities
• Act as a local point of contact during permit activities. This may be to support public interaction initially but subsequently maintaining business compliance
• Engage with the corporate environmental team, and drive delivery of site environmental compliance & implementation of the company´s EMS
•Drive the site commitment to environmental innovation, supporting Ei projects, and lead Ei communications within the site
• Ensuring delivery of the EMS and compliance requirements through, and full population of the Environmental Database SOFI
• Fulfil the role of gatekeeper for site development projects from a compliance perspective, ensuring processes are followed
• Engage with the corporate energy team, and drive delivery of corporate targets into the site
• Forecast energy requirements to deliver the plant vehicle volume targets, and develop the plant level energy budget
•Report compliance and energy management to senior personnel for comparison with other business activities

· Able to provide training to improve knowledge of the wider team on site
· Driving change through implementation of best practice at design stages
· Excellent analytical and reporting skills, excellent PC skills
· Local lead with regulator liaison
· Degree in Science, Environment or Engineering with experience in a relevant field
· Business proficient in English
