Your role
 
BI Expert in the international program and reinsurance area responsible to translate business requirements into the implementation of Business Objects reports and to consult the business customers where various options are available.
 
As a Business Intelligence Expert your main responsibilities will involve:
* Contribution and collaboration in the definition of the business requirements and business specifications

* Evaluate options and translate business requirements into technical specifications

* Develop and maintain Business Objects reports

* Consult initiate and share best practice within different business users / customers

* Coordinate with and monitor external service providers to implement required changes / new requests

* Train business users in how to run reports and how to set up ad hoc reports

* Produce ad-hoc reports as per business requirement

* Constantly review and improve quality of reports and of data model

* Provide support to business during close periodsAdditional Job Function

 

Your Skills and Experience
 
As a Business Intelligence Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Higher education in economics, mathematics or computer science

* A minimum of 3 years experience in developing reports with Business Objects (or similar BI tools)

* Knowledge in database and data warehousing concepts

* Client oriented, team player, flexible, strong communicator

* Business Know-how in Insurance market or other financial service areas

* Fluent English
