Senior IT Architect

This position is aimed at candidates able to manage evolve, develop and supervise large scale banking systems, manage, provide governance and support implementation projects in terms of solution architecture, design and delivery. We are looking for candidates suitable for positions in Solution architecture domain.

IT Architecture responsibilities include:

• Define and maintain adopted architectural principles and standards;
• Participate in definition of target IT Architecture aligned with business concepts, corporate strategy and IT strategy;
• Perform ongoing analysis of current IT landscape in order to identify architectural gaps and propose solutions how these deficiencies shall be addressed;
• Act as a technical subject matter expert to provide technical consultancy for project management;
• Continually monitor technology landscape, new versions, features and market trends relevant to assigned domain of responsibility.

Specific responsibilities:

• Defining the application / solution architecture and interfaces to interrelated systems based on the bank’s architecture standards;
• Lean, consistent and robust application / solution design for single applications / solutions based on the bank-wide architecture policies / standards and business requirements;
• Lead and perform complex application design tasks within allotted schedule, task, and quality guidelines;
• Define appropriate application and integration design patterns to optimize overall architecture;
• Carrying out application/solution design and code reviews to ensure compliance with architecture policies and standards;
• Provide technical vision for projects, including architecture, analysis, design, task breakdown, and input to the project managers for scheduling and resource allocation;
• Communicate and define standards for third party vendors according to architecture, limitations and technology roadmaps ;
• Communicate with internal cross-functional teams to align business expectations and IT delivery;
• Define solution security patterns according to corporate security guidelines.

University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

We expect a person with at least 5 years experience with development and integration projects and 2 – 3 years practice as Solution Architect at minimum. Experience in banking industry is strongly preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills, logical and creative thinking is required. knowledge of English language advanced intermediate level for both written and spoken communication is a must. Good communication and presentation skills are preferable.

Required technological skills:

• Experience with enterprise IT systems architecture (TOGAF is a plus);
• Experience with EAI patterns and implementation;
• Experience in SW development and Solution delivery processes;
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture principles and techniques
• Programming platforms: J2EE, .NET
• Database: Database design principles and techniques, PL/SQL (Oracle, MS SQL)
• HW Platforms: Windows Server 2003+, UNIX (AIX, RHEL), Mainframe (zOS)
• Knowledge of security standards (ISO27000) and techniques and technologies (X.509, SSL, IPSec, …)
• Business process automation technologies (WS-*, BPEL, BPMN, XML, …)
• Experience in using modeling tools (ARIS, Enterprise Acrhitect, Power Designer)
