Supports product category resets with analysis and modelling
Reviews, discusses and consolidates pricing plans for the category, produces reports for price performance reviews
Prepares proposals with Price Team Managers for Price Policy adjustments to maintain new developments and changes launched
Makes standardized outputs/reports based on internal data, external data and other relevant data sources (including close cooperation across many various departments within Tesco)
Lead interactions with Product Category Reset teams across the functions
Leverage between Pricing-Insight-Dunnhumby knowledge and Product Category Reset expectations

Personality requirements and skills

Higher education: Master’s degree - preferably in Economist, Finance, Marketing
Fluency in English both spoken and written
Min 1-3 years proven record of managing complex analyst tasks in changing business environment
Advanced Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel, Access and understanding of VBA
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of the advantages of working with data - Nielsen, Dunnhumby
Excellent understanding of commercial and financial aspects of business
Ability to lead multifunctional tasks and projects with problem-solving approach
Ability to work in international environment and matrix structure
Skilled time management with the ability to prioritize goals
Former (junior) buyer experience is an advantage
