Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for experienced professional who will be in charge of accounting, controlling, financial analysis and reporting for European & Asian branches of a successful international company. You will be responsible for:
  • Providing timely and accurate accounting, controlling and reporting tasks for European & Asian branches according to company's internal guidelines
  • Performing closing and reporting activities of defined legal entities
  • Ensuring timely booking of accruals, payroll, fixed assets, VAT, WHT, intercompany recharges (including their settlement)
  • Supporting financial controlling of selected entities with focus on group requirements (payable/receivable signoffs, reconciliations for the accounts under the ownership, and related tasks)
  • Providing accurate financial information to the management to enable timely and current decisions to be made
  • Financial reporting to local tax teams
  • Ensuring compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
  • Supporting audit activities and prepare requested information
  • Identifying and evaluating process improvement possibilities

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and French - Elementary (A2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3-5 years of work experience in accounting (fixed assets/general ledger)
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/Audit
  • Fluency English AND basic command of Italian or French
  • CPA/ACCA certification or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent knowledge regarding accounting policies and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in USGAAP/IFRS
