Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join growing Robotic Automation team of 8 based in Bratislava, Bangalore and Armonk. As a Process Automation Designer you will work closely with the business in a dynamic, fast growing and challenging environment within a global business services center, supporting the high growth in the fast developing markets through the application of innovative technology solutions.

Our process automation solutions utilize UI Path software, which enables business operations teams to automate processes quickly and autonomously through presentation layer integration. Process Automation Designer will deliver automated solutions to our internal partners and will contribute into all Swiss Re services: solution design, implementation and support along with capability development for the internal partners.

The ideal candidate will have good mix of business processes and IT skills, business thinking and be client focused. Selected candidate will receive full training and mentoring on automation methodology and UI Path product.

Assessment
• Conducting Process Assessments: Identifying new process automation opportunities, and quickly assessing feasibility and proposed ROI for automation projects using the Assessment

Procedure
• Analyzing and understanding the business processes to a keystroke level

Design
• Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements
• Designing automated process solutions (Robots) in accordance with standard design principles and conventions

Implementation
• Designing and configuring new Robots using core principles and standards that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
• Creating and maintaining solution documentation
• Development of monitoring solutions suitable for proactive detection of Production and Automation Stability issues

Operations
• Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
• Timely resolution of issues as part of an organized and documented Production Control methodology
• Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process
• Mentoring colleagues through training and operations
• Participating in the development of new offerings and innovation in the automation space
• Continually improving the Procedures used in the Assessment, Implementation, and Operation of Robots

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Bachelor degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of relevant work experience in software development and/or business process analysis.
Comprehensive and evident understanding of Microsoft Technology (VB, .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, Web Services).
Project management experience is very welcome.

• Good written skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
• Ability to understand and describe business processes
• Ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the implemented design architecture
• An understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow or process diagram and to illustrate a written process description as a workflow or process diagram
• The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind
• An understanding of formal change control procedures and disciplines
• An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
• A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team
• Excellent command of spoken and written English

• Training or certification on Robotic Automation Software packages considered an asset.
• Certification in process improvement (Lean 6σ) considered an asset.
• Financial / insurance services experience and/or service operations expertise an asset
