What will be your job?
You will be accountable for efficiently and independently handling all transactions for the insurance portfolio allocated (premiums technical accounting, claims accounting, analysis of financial situation and compensation possibilities, debt collection, cash flow management) while ensuring that deliverables are met (quality, turn-around times, other key performance indicators). You will gain knowledge about corporate insurance business with portfolio allocated in different parts of the world. You will collaborate with Swiss Re colleagues from the different countries across the globe.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with partners from different Swiss Re departments and external clients.
In this role is required to work within a set framework of processes and guidelines but nevertheless you are going to be asked to make suggestions for improvements.
You will get tasks such as preparing data reports and statistics, to manage additional control tasks, deliver tasks in excellent quality.
Act as professional involved in planning and controlling of workload or assigned to other specific project work later on.

Gain knowledge of end to end processing for managing insurance portfolio of technical accounts including complex cases which consists of various tasks as :
•Technical verification and processing of client account according to contract
•Financial settlement with clients according to agreement terms
•Active daily business correspondence, investigation and analysis and interpretation of processed accounting information.
•Assurance of professional communication with our clients and ensuring of professional service provision
•Quality and risk management activities according to internal guidelines and workflow requirements

Personality requirements and skills

• You finished Secondary Economic or Grammar School with 2 - 3 years of working experience in the finance area or you have University degree (preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics)
• Your MS Office skills are on advanced level (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)

• you would describe yourself as detail oriented, willing to learn continuously
• you have great time management skills and adherence to deadlines
