Field Engineering specialist – Electrical Engineer

The Field Engineering Specialist will work for the Site Technical Office (STO) which is the direct operative link between Engineering and Construction; STO is in charge to solve the issues coming from the field applying the project procedures, finding effective solutions which do not impair safety and quality and do not have impact on the project timing and costs.

Field Engineering Specialist is in charge of technical coordination as well as direct dealing with the Contractors for any technical issue; involvement of Contractors in the solutions is mandatory to assure safety, quality, consistency with the design concepts and the warranties for the project.

The Field Engineering Specialist's activities are strictly interlinked with Construction department to immediately recognize (starting from the feasibility and constructability phases) the difficulties for erection and the inconsistencies between design and actual site situation.

The Field Engineering Specialist shall assure that the activities under the scope of work are performed in accordance with the allotted time and with the required quality.

The Electrical Field Engineering specialist will report to the Head of Electrical Field Engineering.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years relevant experience in Electrical Field Engineering on complex projects;

• Past experiences in “Nuclear Plant Design” will be considered a plus; VVER plant design knowledge will be preferred;

• Good knowledge of English language;

• Good communication skills;

• Problem solving attitude;

• Independence with team work capabilities;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
