Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client we are looking for talented and competent, highly motivated technologist to fill Continuity Services Integration Engineer position and join high performance team in the process of rapidly transforming Continuity Services portfolio. The candidates are expected to develop their skills further and contribute to building the latest technology Cloud solutions focused on Disaster Recovery. The main objectives for this position are:

• Responsible for developing new services through the complete product lifecycle whilst ensuring compliance with Enterprise Services Standard Reference Architecture and Concept to Production standards for service development
• Design, build and integration of new services into Continuity Services (CS) portfolio and Enterprise Services Cloud programs
• Providing training and level 4 support for Best Shore and regional delivery centers
• Sustaining engineering of existing CS portfolio of services
• Designing and implementing complex Business Continuity & Availability solutions for customers according to business needs, both as standalone solutions and as part of IT outsourcing engagements
• Working with regional delivery teams to ensure deployment of quality solutions and ensure two way knowledge exchange and continuous improvement between engineering and delivery

The position is available within the Helion Cloud Continuity Services engineering team located in Bratislava but with global responsibility. The successful candidates will be expected to be well respected leaders in their field of technology and command a good understanding across the industry in their specialist technology area.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Active Directory administration, design and deployment
• Preferably certified in deployment, support and maintenance of various Virtualization Technologies: VMware ESX, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V.. and Operating Systems: HP-UX, Linux, Windows
• Technical skills as well as ability to communicate cross-functionally on a global basis as part of virtual teams

Nice to Have Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge in Storage Arrays, Clustering, Cloud concepts, High-Availability solutions and technologies
• Understanding of Network and Security
• General Project Management

• Contribute service development and be recognized in their technology area as a thought leader on a global basis and keep abreast of industry trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Mentor junior or less experienced team members
• Contribute complex implementation projects
• Escalation Management: identify, mange, and lead escalate

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• May have Master's degree in related field
• Often holds intermediate-level certification(s) in work field
• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience

Language:
• English mandatory (technical English, read, written, spoken)
• Previous experience with international, English speaking environment is a plus
