Scaffolding Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- To supervise and coordinate scaffolding erection activities in cooperation with involved departments and contractors within MO34 working areas;
- To ensure that all scaffolding installed on behalf of the investor is in compliance with applicable and valid technical norms;
- To work with Construction Managers and Discipline Superintendent for construction site needs and actions required to allow other contractors’ activities requiring scaffolding erection and maintenance;
- Verify and update on regular basis the actual progress of works in relation to the project time schedule, notify the line management in case of delay and propose possible recovery actions;
- To attend site inspections and periodical verification of installed scaffolding;
- To verify / confirm installed scaffolding quantities in accordance with contractual specification and measurement rules;
- To verify and monitor contractor’s daily reports in terms of resources on site, spent man-hours and keeping track of logbook records from contractors according the SK legislation;
- To support OH&S unit (upon request) in dedicated improvement actions required to ensure constant level of safe conditions on site;
- To ensure presence during weekly / daily coordination meetings;
- Coordinate and control the delivery of construction materials to the site and highlight criticalities and shortcomings. Check possible damages of supplies and verify that the supplies are complete;
- To underline to the Superintendents / Construction Managers significant solved problems in order to avoid future repetition;
- Daily monitoring of site areas (i.e. common areas, critical areas or rooms agreed with the Construction management unit);
- To ensure that the non-conformity process is applied in line with the SE a.s. internal regulations;
- To verify the respect of health, safety and environment standards applicable at MO34 in cooperation with appointed departments advising Superintendents \ Construction Managers on contractors and\or employees who are not complying with the safety standards or are not engaging in safe working practices, including not respecting environmental rules and basic housekeeping principles.
