Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Senior C# Developer works as a Scrum team member alongside Business Analysts, other Developers and QA Engineers to develop, enhance and maintain Impendiums cloud-based regulatory platform and its applications for individual clients.
As a senior member of the team, the responsibilities for the role can include taking a technical or process lead on projects, working with the others to ensure that projects keep addressing business needs of Impendium and our end clients, focus on improvements and mentoring of others.

Personality requirements and skills

3+ years of commercial experience with designing and executing quality control (QC) tasks including Integration, Installation, Exploratory, Regression and Scalability testing
Capabilities in full front to back multi-tier application stack, e.g. web based UI, C# .NET middle tier, SQL DB based back end.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle from a project initiation, requirements capture, business analysis, design, code, test and deployment through to support
Experience of working in an Agile environment, ideally Scrum
Strong C# development experience, good grounding in language capabilities and OO design.
Comfortable contributing to and working in a self-organising team. Ready to state and defend personal opinions to team, but also form a consensus with other team members.
Self-management - able to effectively prioritise and manage own time and make judgement calls on when to escalate to management and when to take personal responsibility
Customer focussed attitude - we succeed based on our ability to deliver value to customers and candidates need to be able to apply all their skills to delivering this value
Comfortable working with other vocations; ability to pick up some skills and empathise with individuals in these roles, e.g. BA, QA, etc
Excellent verbal and written communications
Comfortable using English as the work place language - both verbal
