Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Intelligent Exterior Division. We are developing brand new products, for our premium customers.
As assembly engineer you will be part of the extended project team. You will manage the development of the different assembly means (manual / automatic stations) and its setting up in plant .
Your main activities will be:
- Defining the specifications of the assembly machines for the project (design)
- Technical assisting to purchasing department during the request phase
- Analyzing the technical proposals and optimizations and preparing a technical synthesis for the choice of supplier
- Responsibility of the technical follow up and validation of the means when the supplier is chosen (design follow up and validation, built follow up and validation)
- Organizing the setting up and final tuning in plant
- Organization of training for people in the plant
- Defining the best practices and "lessons learned" at the end of project
