Job description, responsibilities and duties
Can you speak English? Do you communicate effectively? Are you good in coordinating things? We are looking for a candidate for our cumulative position covering both shipping and customer service working duties.
Primary focus - CS:
- communication with customers by phone, e-mails
- update of customer forecasts – follow up on regular input from customer
- order handling (receiving, entering, confirming)
- EDI handling
- claim handling (acc. to internal instructions )
- following up on delivery performance
- creating invoices on goods – invoicing of freight
- assist on accounting matters – invoice and credit note issues
- daily communication with other departments: logistic, finance, purchase
Shipping:
- coordination of shipments (export/import)
- booking shipments based on customer order
- keeping shipment system in Lotus Notes updated
- following up on deliveries on a monthly basis
- request picking of spare parts from warehouse
- administration related to shipping - invoices, CMR and deliver note archiving
