Your mission

You will be providing legal representation and full legal support and advise to the company management being the top legal person for our affiliate in Slovakia.

How we'd like you to help us

* You will take responsibility for overall corporate governance, corporate housekeeping and general corporate legal matters.
* You will be in charge of the review and solidification of the existing legal documentation including employment, consulting, service agreements etc.
* You will provide support in drafting complex non-standard agreements with a variety of counter-parties, including wealth and asset managers, family offices, banks etc.
* You will provide advice to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, third parties partnerships, corporate finance, etc.).
* You will provide support in regulatory automation and respective input to the Nectar platform including European regulations such as MiFID II, AIFMD etc.
* You will support our General Counsel in Switzerland mainly in strategic initiatives and corporate matters on a global level (offices in Slovakia, Switzerland and USA).
* Responsibility to maintain awareness of and update on changes in legislation and regulations.
* Interaction with our third-party accounting, payroll and tax provider when legal advisory and inputs are needed.

Education
University degree in Law

We look to add a senior legal expert with in depth knowledge and understanding of all areas of the corporate law, in respect to the legal system in Slovakia.

To match our demanding requirements:
* You need to have proven extensive experience as a Legal Counsel on an in-house role, preferably in an SME.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
* Strong track record in managing a broad range of legal issues and interacting closely with business leaders.
* previous experience creating effective legal strategies.

Languages
You must have excellent written and verbal English skills, Slovak is a must.

Sense for technology in general, ability to quickly get familiar with new tools and interested in new trends.
