Job description, responsibilities and duties

To our office in Bratislava we are looking for:

Budget Planning and Tracking Analyst

You will be supporting marketing department in their purchases. For this you will be processing shopping carts in the shopping system, making sure that all the purchase detail are correct.

In this position you will mainly:
  • Act as the master shopper on behalf of the Marketing function in accordance with pending Procurement changes, with tasks including creation of Shopping Carts
  • Be the expert and linkage to purchase indirect goods and services for the organization/end users, and follow-up on approvals when needed
  • Confirm goods received by end users
  • Request the opening of new vendors in SAP
  • Support Account Payable department with invoice resolution from business perspective
  • Acknowledge of Spot Buy Result
  • Acknowledge requests within one business day
  • Consolidate marketing budget in a unique file, completing marketing budgeting template
  • Apply changes and updates, if needed. Submit marketing budgeting plan to Marketing Spend Optimization Team and Brand Managers for their respective reviews.
  • Create marketing cost centers, validate settlement rules, update Marketing plan with cost center number, as well as update budgeting phasing template.
  • Checks all cost center created are included in phasing template.  
  • Notify Brand Managers on information request & deadlines.  
  • Process budgeting shift request, and prepare form requested by finance department as well as submit it via internal systems
  • Closely cooperate with other internal / external teams – Procurement, Account Payable, Internal Control, and Finance.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced
SAP - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

  • Strong communicator skills, combined with being efficient and well-organised
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • 1-2 years of office or administrative experience, preferably in a remote context or a shared service environment
  • Experience in working with SAP would be a strong asset
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Good Excel skills
