Job description, responsibilities and duties

Role Overview

Responsible for managing the sales strategy and sales teams in the Slovak Republic. Responsible for MD product sales to new and established hospital accounts in order to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. The position has a direct contribution to the development of business and/or functional strategies

Key responsibilities:

Directs the activities of the field sales staff to ensure compliance with business plan and company policies.
Develops the business plan conversing all markets and regions
Analyzes results against forecasts and presents to senior management.
Participates as a business partner in business planning sessions to establish tactical plans to accomplish goals.
Establishes and manages budgets, forecasts and reports
Approves incentive plan parameters and goals as well as ad hoc plans and contests.
Studies marketplace trends and changes taking place for implications to business
Ensures territories are logical and cost-effective.
Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.
Cultivates relationships with key decision makers at hospitals
Fulfill other tasks or duties set by direct manager

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Driving licence

Number of years of experience

7

Personality requirements and skills

University/Bachelor degree
Fluent English as well as Slovak language
7 – 10 years business experience in selling
Strong analytical and planning skills
Experience from a similar managerial position prefferably in field of Medical Devices, experience with leading people
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office – word, excel,
„Can do“ and „winning“ attitude
Sense of urgency, flexibility, hard-working, goals oriented
