For our Global Services and Operations center in Bratislava we are looking for experienced Operational Management Consultant (OM) who will find the challenge in Coaching/Advisory role and close cooperation with line management of GSO by implementation of OM principles.
Your role:
The 7 principles of Operational Management are:
Your role:
- Understand the tools (task and processes measurement software), techniques (whiteboards, DCP, etc.) , and behaviors required to support the 7 principles of Operations Management.
- Appreciate the application of the 7 principles of Operational Management and assists the Team Leads and Department Managers in the achievement of their business objectives.
- Proactively communicate and gain support for the application of the 7 principles of Operational Management approaches.
- Empathize with the concerns of Management and Staff and demonstrate how the 7 principles of Operational Management can be used to overcome them.
- Understand workflow, develop process hierarchies and task lists.
- Develop and implement capacity management (short and long term) to prevent backlogs and overcapacity
- Identify improvement opportunities in both organization and delivery of processes.
- Gain buy-in and user acceptance to enable measurement of all work.
- Ensure all tasks are measured, using appropriate techniques, and results are signed off by the business. Ensure accuracy of all measures.
- Co-ordinate measurement of staff skills, service standards and quality once tasks are defined.
- Promote and gain buy-in to continuous improvement through Operational Management and process review.
- Define descriptions of tasks and ensure consistency in descriptions and referencing across the business.
- Support the implementation of Operational Management , demonstrate and train Manager, Team Leaders and Deputies in the principles of Operations Management, its tools & techniques and behaviors.
- Co-ordinate the development of training and benefit realization plans and support their achievement.
The 7 principles of Operational Management are:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive set of measures
- Produce plans that achieve targets and objectives and customer requirements
- Communicate business and team objectives at all levels to motivate and gain to targets and plans
- Allocate work in line with customer requirements and priorities and achieve optimal performance
- Actively monitor and control the work of individuals to ensure plans are achieved and agreed working practice is followed
- Use management information to analyze capacity and performance in key result areas
- Continuously improve the capacity and performance of business processes and people to enhance customer service and manage costs
