Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Communication with part suppliers, internal teams and packaging developers in process of packaging development
- Analysis of part design (CATIA) and preparation of packaging concepts
- Predesign optimalization in regards of parts protection, optimal packaging density (Parts/PU and PU/HU) and ergonomic manipulation
- Logistics flow definition between plant and Tier 2 suppliers (returnable vs one way packaging, logistics protocol etc.)
- Selection of optimal packaging materials - EPP, Piocelan, other thermoformed materials, steel racks/containers, KLT with textile or plastic inlays, KTP, etc.
- Packaging prototypes validation, request for adjustments and improvements
- Packaging trials
- Documentation and coordination of development process
