Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Asset Manager (AM) is responsible to drive service delivery for multiple customers. He or she owns the quality of the solution, processes and data, and provides solution and tooling consultancy to the account and the customer. As part of this role, he or she is responsible for account investigations, solution clarifications, process analysis as well as participation on process design. Additionally, the Asset Manager drives various smaller projects for his accounts from both a project management as well as from a solution design perspectives. Last but not least, the asset the AM is responsible to drive ongoing efficiency improvements to allow HP to maintain a competitive edge on the market.

A strong IT background is key to this role due to expected focus on automation and streamlined process design. The key areas of responsibility are:

• Own the end to end asset management solution for your accounts
• Cooperate closely with the delivery team and the delivery lead and/or any relevant subject matter experts for the solutions and platforms used on your accounts
• Make sure customer and account requirements for existing and new functionalities and services in the area of asset management are well understood by both, the implementation teams (in case of new elements) and the delivery teams (in case of existing elements)
• Communicate plans and expected functionality details to development team. Facilitate the design and implementation of straightforward, streamlined and efficient solutions and prevent development redundancy and waste
• Analyze relevant customer and account processes and procedures and contribute to ensuring they are properly represented in the asset management solution
• Coordinate project activities, participate on workload planning and consult solution specifics for minor enhancements and changes
• Serve as the communication buffer between accounts/projects and the delivery and development teams
