Program Buyer

- Negotiate and source parts or requirements as delegated by related program
- Negotiate component and Tool costs
- Manage suppliers/supply pool through project life-time @ assigned projects
- Drives suppliers through proto/pilot stages from project award till introduction to serial production
- Communicate, track and manage design changes in all project phases to maximise company's profitability
- Transact purchase orders aligned to commodity strategy and sourcing nominations and according the local procedures
- Resolve purchasing related supplier issues that impact the supply chain and effect customer
- Work with suppliers and purchasing team to improve cost, quality and delivery performance
- Support plant studies and meetings to identify cost save opportunities as required
- Support production and non-production commodity strategy teams and sourcing
- Solve price variances for purchase process
- Propose and implement the evaluation of suppliers for purchase process
