Quality manager for SSC processes

As a supporting function of the Shared Services Center (SSC), the Quality & ICS Manager has the overall responsibility to ensure high quality, accurate and timely operations as well as following standard Accounting processes to meet internal and external audit requirements. The position assures an effective Internal Control System for Accounting in the SSC.
The Quality & ICS Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position:

- Set up a process to ensure the overall assurance of quality, efficiency and compliance with agreed guidelines and handbooks and perform mandatory QM reviews
- First point of contact for all compliance related topics affecting the SSO Operations, especially Tax and payment compliance
- Ensure that the internal control management cycle for the Shared Service Center Bratislava is operated in a high-quality, complete and timely manner according to the Group standards
- Define documentation methodology in alignment with the Global Process Owner incl.
- Responsible for the overall Business Continuity Planning (BCP) concept for the SSC
- Align with other SSC functions to discuss issues related to the service delivery and to elaborate solutions / initiatives for improvement as well as complaint management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in the area of Finance/Accounting or compliance and quality related activities.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, IAS, US-GAAP), local GAAP and awareness of local tax frameworks
- Accounting process experience and related business processes a global and local level
- Experience in Business Process Management and SAP system transactional functionality as well as an understanding of systems workflow, dependencies and inter-dependencies
