Experienced Wordpress Developer

Last year, GlobalLogic Slovakia began to work on project for popular British company operating in the field of mass media. Company with more than a hundred years long tradition made it from few pages long newspaper to highly respected and competent weekly magazine dealing with dozens of topics. As a company is willing to grow even more and keep up with the latest technology, it was GlobalLogic Slovakia and our team of specialist who got the chance to work on it.

We are currently seeking a Wordpress Developer, who will design and develop new responsive website and content management system.

Your responsibilities as Wordpress Developer will include:
- design and build websites and mobile websites as per requirements
- do fixes to WordPress backend, build plugins, enhancements to Interface etc.
- collaborate with cross-functional distributed teams to define, design, and ship new features
- identify problems, data issues, areas for improvement, issues and acceptable strategies to address them
- troubleshoot and debug
- continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- unit-test code for robustness, usability and general reliability

Perfect candidate for us should:
- have proven software development experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- have experience building websites and customizing WordPress (advanced level required)
- have experience creating WordPress plugins and themes
- have experience in common third-party APIs, SDKs, modules and libraries
- be intermediate in Git, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Scrum, JSON, XML, REST, Unit Testing, SQL

You are even more interesting for us if you have experience with
- Drupal, Drush, Varnish, eZ Publish, Jenkins, NodeJS, SQLite, NoSQL, oAuth, oAuth2
